Part - II (Visualisation using Tableau)

Now that you have your hypotheses in place, you would ask the product manager for data to validate/reject them.  The following dataset has been shared with you.

Answer the following questions based on your analysis of the dataset.

Question 5

You want to understand whether the problem of lower order through rate is confined to Pune only, whether it's confined to a particular zone in Pune and whether it's more prevalent for a specific meal for a day. Further, you also want to check if there are any particular zones suffering more, affecting overall revenues (lower average order values). For this, you need to visualise the following using Tableau:

a) Order through rate at different times of the day for Pune city (all zones) compared with other cities

b) Average demand across different cities for different meals for the day

c) Menu to cart rate at different times of the day for Pune city (all zones) compared with other cities

d) Cart to order rate at different times of the day for Pune city (all zones) compared with other cities

e) Menu to cart rate vs demand for each zone in Pune city. Identify the problem zones based on the visual

f) Average order value by zone for Pune city for different meals of the day. Determine if there are any outlier zones from the visual

For each visualisation, add the screenshot of the visual to your submission document. Also, add your key takeaway/insight from it.

Question 6

You also want to understand which factors have a strong correlation with the lower order through rate/menu to cart rate. Is it the delivery time, the %age images in the recommended menu, the discount etc.? For this, you need to plot the following

a) Order through rate vs delivery time at a Pune city level

b) Order through rate vs dishes with images in the recommended menu at a Pune city level

c) Order through rate vs discount at a Pune city level

For each visualisation, add the screenshot of the visual to your submission document. Also, add your key takeaway/insight from it. Identify the variable with the strongest correlation.
